He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Asselin and Audre Asselin (Burbach); his wife Laura Jo; his son Justin; his granddaughter Sydnee Brester; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Lisa) and Shelley Berger; and his in-laws, Jack and Tootie Berger (Arva Mae).
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Brester (JR) and Jill Asselin; his siblings, Demaris Berger (James), Janna Smith (Randy), Kelly Asselin (Gigi) and Randy Asselin (Julee); his siblings-in-law, Vickie McHenry, Robin Dean, Sue Tynan (Jerry), Teresa Drummond, James Berger (Demaris) and Eric Berger; and his grandchildren, Paije Pietra (Chris) of Gering, Payton Mooney of Gering, Justin Brester (Tori) of Gering, Brenden Brester (Maddie) of Gering, Carlee Macke (Sage) of Gering, Brooks Brester, Lennon, Atlas Macke and Everett Brester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and so many FRIENDS.
