With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan W. Shields of Gibbon, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Shields and Patricia Shields (Cosner); his daughter Cassandra of Omaha; his siblings, Doran Shields of Gibbon, Lynn Shields of Gibbon and Janis Husted (Kevin) of Bartlesville, OK; and his siblings' children, Mindy Jurgens (Neal) of Gibbon, Amy White (Ryan) of Skiatook, OK and Chris Golden (Christine) of Netherlands.
