Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Griffin and Valeria Griffin (Zigler); and her brother Bill Griffin. She is survived by: her daughters, Jimel Cooksley (Kourtney) of Chadron and Lynelle "Pokie" Oliver (Tim) of Shelton; her sister Etha Griffin of Gibbon; her nephew Michael Griffin (Jen) of Evans, CO; and her niece Anita Smith (Ryan) of Kearney. She is also survived by 7 grandkids, 8 great grandkids, as well as many nieces, nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
