With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita D. Farias (Gibbon, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Alvarado and Clotilde Alvarado; and her pets, Charlie and Georgie. She is survived by: her husband Paul Farias of Gibbon; her children, Christina Farias of Phoenix, Teresa Roman of Hastings, Irene Goodwin of Gibbon, Rick Farias (Angie) of Grand Island, David Farias of Omaha, Paul Farias (Daniele) of Kearney and Paula Degenhardt (Karl) of York; and her siblings, Maria of Indiana, Hermania of Colorado and Joseph of Omaha. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
