She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Read and Lauretta Read (Rynearson); her stepfather Frank Schmidt; her brothers, Gerald "Jerry" Rynearson and Laurence "Pete" Read; her son Dan Eastman; and her grandchild Jordan Eastman.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Eastman of Giltner; her children, Julie Bird (Ted) of Rapid City, SD, Bobbi Ackerson (Denny) of Lincoln, Michelle Gonzales (Mike) of McCook, Mary Jo Eastman of Giltner, Mike Eastman (Joanie) of Lincoln, Rich Eastman of Aurora, Joan Fruit (Craig) of Giltner, John Eastman (Kim) of Giltner, Bev Eastman of Giltner, James Eastman (Mandy) of Giltner and Traci Eastman of Giltner; her adoptive son Dhanraj Marneni of Nalgonda, India; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Eastman (Carla) of York, Barb Eastman and Karen Burns of Grand Island. She is also survived by 59 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileen requested no flowers, but instead memorials may be made to St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward or Our Lady of Guadalupe in Denton.
