It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Rasmussen of Giltner, Nebraska, born in Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on March 17, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wert Onno and Verna Marie Hinrichs (Groenewold); and her husband Don Rasmussen. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Ann Hawthorne (Max) of Grand Island and Connie Lynn Gustafson (Jim) of Beaver City; her grandchildren, Tyler Hawthorne (Joey Huff), Kyle Hawthorne, Jessica Enfield (Jody), Cassie Morten (Cory) and Seth Gustafson (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Trevan, Caden, Ethan, Logan, Barrett, Layla, Laramie and Waylon; and her close friends, Kathy Osborne and Glennie Coats. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date.
