He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Griffith and Audrey Griffith (Garnett); his son John Douglas Stones of Lincoln, NE; his sister Alice; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Bonnie Theesen.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Stones of Glenvil; and his sons, Michael Griffith (Heather) of Carmichael, CA, James Griffith (Charity) of Lincoln, NE and Brett Stones (Jeanna) of Hastings, NE. He is also survived by three sisters; two brothers; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
