With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Kay Tystad of Gordon, Nebraska, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Pauline Munn and Randall Shepard; her stepfather Philip "Shorty" Munn; her brother Dale Paul Shepard; her daughter Dianne Coenen; and her cousins, Bonnie Sue Seveland and Brian Seveland.
She is survived by : her children, Batesland, S. D. Bonnie, Larry and Gordon; her husband Larry Tystad; her children, Todd Tystad and Shannon Salway (Mandy); her sister Bev Paul (Bill); her grandchildren, Gabriele Mannlein, Phoenix, Ariz, Zac Moore, San Diego, Calif and Tre Tystad; and her uncles, Myron Seveland (Linda), Evergreen (Colo), David Seveland (Julie) and Linwood (Kan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church and can be sent to Chamberlain Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
