She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William Barth and Florence Barth (Holtgren); her husband Joe Britt; and her children, Wayne, Lyle (Mary Anne) and Barb (Bob Strauch). She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Rushville Rescue Unit or the Rushville American Legion Auxiliary and donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE, 69343.
