He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Smith and Ellis Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Brenda Skarohllid (John) and Stacey Darnell (Buddy); and his grandchildren, Jayde Hagle (Jordan), J. J. Skarohlid (Grace), Justin Skarohlid (Zoie), Cody Darnell (Timber) and Morgan Sutphin (Ty). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gordon First United Methodist Church (211 W 2nd St, Gordon, NE 69343).
