Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Beardt and Gladys Beardt; and her brother Johnny Beardt. She is survived by: her husband Gary Nielsen; and her children, Sonya Tysdal (Tim) of Newcastle, Chad of Grand Island, Angela Kurz (Keith) of Grand Island and Matthew Nielsen (Angelique) of Osceola. She is also survived by two grandsons, and numerous family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (136 N Oak St, Gordon, NE 69343).
