She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Mitchell and Anna Lee Joseph (Perry); her husband Clarence A. Nelms; her son Gregory D. Nelms; her siblings, Kenneth, Ruth and Edith; and her stepmother Susie.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth A. Nelms (Linda) of North Platte, NE, Larry E. Nelms (Georgia) of North Platte, NE, James L. Nelms of Gothenburg, NE and Celeste L. Nelms (Mike Hilderbrand) of Gothenburg, NE. She is also survived by many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gothenburg Cemetery (1752 27th St, Gothenburg, NE 69138).
