We bid farewell to Pauline Holmes (Gothenburg, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2025 at the age of 90. Pauline touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Fickenscher and Anna Fickenscher; and her husband Tot Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Jay and Joni; her family German; her children, Suzanne Holmes and Noel Jacobsen; her grandchildren, Sarah Jacobsen, Rebecca Jacobsen, Cassie Kinney, Kiel, Brooke Holmes, Kelsey, Brendyn Kaintz and Kyndal Holmes; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Evan Kinney, Lena, Collin Waldron, Raylin Steward and Rory Holmes.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (1512 Avenue G, Gothenburg, NE 69138).
