He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his parents, Reverend Addison "Lewis" Cole and Ruth Cole (Laidlaw); and his sister Josephine Howes (Cole). He is survived by: his son Lew Jr. (Shari); his grandchildren, Alecia Pamas (Stephen), Erica McMahon of Denver and Grant Cole of Omaha; his great grandchild Zoe Pamas; his brother David Cole; and his sibling's children, Jacque Cole and David Cole.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grand Island Cemetery (3168 W Stolley Park Rd, Grand Island, NE 68801).
