With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amy Emily Folkers of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wiegert and Ava Wiegert (Wright); her husband Eldred E Folkers; her daughter-in-law Kathy Folkers; and her siblings, Dwain, LeRoy Wiegert, Norma Bomar, Dorothy Benne, Wanda Smalley, Marva Cooper and Betty Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Terry and Cheryl Larsen (Ron) of Longmont, CO; her grandson Weston Larsen (Aubrie) of Berthoud, CO; her great grandchildren, Lukas and Landon Larsen of Berthoud, CO; and her brothers, Bob, Denny and Larry Wiegert.
