She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Nelson and Dorothy Nelson (Johnston); her brother Johnny Nelson; and her sister-in-law Marvel Nelson. She is survived by: her husband John Clinch; her children, Lisa Baasch (John) of Grand Island, Shelley Ferneau (Jason) of Denver, CO and Dr. TJ Clinch (Cassy) of Kearney; and her siblings, Vernon Nelson, Wesley Nelson (Connie) and Julie Nelson (Jim). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, to honor her memorials to organizations dear to Barbara's heart: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, My Bridge Radio, GRACE Foundation, American Heart Association, Peace Lutheran Church, the Department of Music at UNK, MADD, United Way, or the Stuhr Museum.
