He is survived by: his wife Mary Schroeder; and his sons, Steven Hostler of Alda, NE, Jerry Hostler (Marla) of Grand Island, NE and David Hostler (Cindie) of Central City, NE. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
