With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carla Mary Mitchell of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Lemke and Margaret Lemke (Dodds); her grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell and Raini Ann Mitchell; and her nephew Erik Lemke.
She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" Mitchell; her children, Todd Mitchell (Tara) of Las Vegas and Michelle Mitchell of Kearney; her granddaughter Lily Mitchell-Muehlhausen of Lincoln; her siblings, Philip Lemke, Janette Edwards (Peter), Allan Lemke (Jenny) and Richard Lemke (Diana); and her siblings' children, Emily Streeter (Justin), Ian Edwards, Matt Edwards and Jillian Edwards.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
