It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Hiser of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. A. Tierney and Evelyn Tierney; and her significant other Richard Harder. She is survived by: her children, Christy (Trent) of Omaha and Shad (Jessalyn) of Blair; her grandchild Kacie (Steven); her great grandchild Violet; her grandchildren, Travis (Beth), Caleb (Olivia), Rory and Evalyn; her siblings, Larry and Conni (Rick); Shay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
