He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Perkins and Marcella Perkins (Burgess); his former wives, Linda Kucera and Ruth Skeen; and his brother Dwight Perkins.

He is survived by: his wife Deana Macke; his children, Cori Perkins (Bill Rork) of Grand Island, Melissa Weston (Brent) of Hastings, Teri Brown (Matt) of St. Paul, A. J., Andy Perkins (Laurie) of Lake Stevens, WA and Gracie Perkins of Grand Island; his stepchildren, Tyler Macke (Emilie) and Sydney Montey (Doug); his grandchildren, Tristan, Isabelle, James, Addison, Carmella, Dallas, Anna, Dillon, Blake, Kayla, Hailey, Charles Flynn, Landon and Logan; and his sisters, Frances Jensen of Central City and Edith Garrett (Brad) of Central City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
