He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Petersen and Emma Petersen (Hansen). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Cramer of Grand Island; his daughters, Darla Lingeman (Michael) of Grand Island and Kelley Lienemann (Douglas) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Laramie Lingeman (Danielle), Zachary Lingeman (Kourtney), Chance Lienemann (Megan), Keenan Lienemann (Brittany) and Ty Lienemann; and his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Logan, Collin, Breckyn, Wyatt, Tanner and Kade.

Memorials may be directed to Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Grand Island.
