He is survived by: his wife Dee Jakob of Grand Island, NE; his stepchildren, Terri Kopy (Mike) of Lawrence, KS, Jodi Hayward (Mark) of Parkville, MO, Emily Martinez (Leo) of Grand Island, NE, Josie Young (Tyler) of Grand Island, NE, Sonny Hinojos (Karla) of Yuma, AZ, Kathy and Marty Servin; his brother Dennis Jakob (Jan); his grandchildren, Brian Kopy (Angela), Katie O'Quinn (Willie), Nathan Hayward (Kendall), Mallory Melcher-Post (Jeremy), Ariana Hayward, Luis, Liliana, Leo Jr., Julian, Matthew, Scarlett, Samantha and Zoey; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Mason, Kaylie, Kylie, Kynlie, Keelie and Ellie Jo; his nephews, Jay and Jon; and his niece Jill.
