He was predeceased by : his parents, Hollis Amick and Mildred Amick (Basenberg); and his siblings, Roger and Charlotte. He is survived by : his wife Esther Burrus; his sons, Troy Amick (Kim) of Central City and Jason Amick (Lora) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Kryfka (Ed), Zach Amick (Samantha), Jacob Amick (Jovana), Rachael Amick (Sam), Marcus Amick (Evelyn), Adrian Amick, Dustin Amick, Timothy Amick, Issac Amick, Calista Amick, TJ Amick and Michael Amick; his great grandchildren, Edward, Brooklyn, Sutton, Addison and Palmer; and his brothers, Leldon Amick (Sherry) of Alabama and Mitch Amick (Joyce) of Alabama. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the GRACE Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
