He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Buss and Hedwig Buss (Scheiding); and his wife Gretchen Kirsch. He is survived by: his son Daryl (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ethan, Eliya and Hannah of Parker, CO; and his siblings, Iona Grundmann of Grand Island, Larry Buss (Donna) of Hastings and Roger Buss (Gail) of Hastings. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church Music Fund or Grand Island Lutheran High School.
