He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Young and Velma Young (Werner); his daughter Jacey Yarns; his brother Richard Young; and his son-in-law Mike Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Young; his children, Brent Young (Kim), Jody Wallace and Jayna Wells; and his siblings, James Young and Karen Pulscher. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
