It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. Kuta of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon "Leo" B. Krajewski and Marie A. Krajewski (Wroblewski); and her sisters, Barbara "Bobbi" Shelnitz and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Legg. She is survived by: her husband Francis G. Kuta of Grand Island, NE; her children, Frederic "Fred" Kuta (Susan) of Edgar, NE, Franklin "Frank" Kuta (Karen) of St. Libory, NE and Jenifer "Jeny" Cantrell (Chris) of Malcolm, NE; her sister Glenda "Fritzi" Baker; her grandchildren, Brian Nowak (Alayna), Erika Pahl (Shelby), Andrew Kuta, Jared Kuta, Addison Kuta, Justin Kuta, Abigail Cantrell and Joshua Cantrell; and her brothers-in-law, Dave Shelnitz of West Haven, CT and Melvin Legg of Doniphan, NE.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Cathedral.
