He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Schaaf and Ella Mae Schaaf (Moore) of Grand Island, NE.; and his sister Betty Jean. He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" Elizabeth (Sherrill) of Lexington, NE; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Mae Yonkers. He is also survived by his wife of over 62 years, his two daughters, their spouses, brother in-law, two sisters in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
