He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Billington and Geraldine Billington (Stauss); his stepson Christopher Gilliland; his brother Jon Billington Sr.; and his nephew Jon Billington Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Nevels of Grand Island; his sons, Shawn Billington (Angel Flint) of Wilcox, Casey Ledford (Kellye Crow) of Grand Island and Colton Ledford (Jessica) of Grand Island; his siblings, David Billington (Van) of Loveland, CO, Bob Billington (Anita) of Grand Island, Frank Billington of Grand Island and Ginger Johnson (Steve) of Grand Island; and his sister-in-law Pam Billington of Grand Island. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great -grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
