He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail S. Bryant and Clara V. Bryant (Smith); his wife Joyce Bryant (Geddes); and his siblings, Harold "Gene" Bryant, Warren "Jim" Bryant, Myron "Wayne" Bryant, Floyd L. Bryant, Carol "June" Tomko and Darlene Combs.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Bryant (Rae), Jay Bryant (Gina) of Rockford, IL and Carol Bryant; his siblings, Bill Bryant (Norma Lea) and Doris Whitacre; his grandson Jeff Bryant (Shivani) of Austin, TX; and his sisters, Emma Devaney (Chris) of Rockford, IL and Isabel Bryant of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Pauls Lutheran Church; the Gerald D. Bryant Scholarship and the Geddes-Bryant Family Scholarship at the Grand Island Education Foundation; Grand Island Public Library Foundation; or the donor's choice.
