He was predeceased by: his parents, Katharina Gerber and Georg Gerber; his sister Rosemarie Martin; and his brother-in-law Lawrence L. "Larry" Roschynialski. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Roberts, David Gerber, Helmut "Joe" Gerber and Jon Jenkins; and his siblings, Traudel "Trudy" Roschynialski, Otto Gerber and George "Georgie" Gerber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
