He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Rasmussen and Thelma Rasmussen (Stewart); his wife Joanne Lee Fundingsland; his son Scott Rasmussen; and his grandson Samuel Rasmussen.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Rasmussen (Vickie) and Diane Lewis (Roger); his brother Richard Rasmussen; his daughter-in-law Linda Rasmussen; and his grandchildren, Rachael, Heather, Eric and Jennifer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
