He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Nelson (Hartsell); and his sister Mary Stewart. He is survived by: his father Delmar Nelson of Holdrege; his wife Tonda Nelson of Grand Island; his daughters, Jessica (Tyler McCarthy) of Grand Island and Tamara Nelson (Ronnie Wilkerson) of Grand Island; and his grandchildren, Angelica, Sierra, Noah, Alex, Fernando, Isaiah, Abigail and Hunter. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
