With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Barbara Jensen of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan Barbara left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew McCumber and Mildred McCumber (White); her husbands, James Davis of Stockman's Lounge and Lavern "Jack" Jensen; her sons, Tom Bigley, Dick Davis, Donny Bigley and Chuck Davis; her grandson Jonathan Muchow; her great grandchild Savannah Bigley; and her sister-in-law Bernadine McCumber.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Davis (Kathryn) of Omaha and Kathy Muchow of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Michael Bigley (Adriann), Geoff Muchow, Sarah Sleicher (Craig), Amanda Rood (Jon), Adam Bigley (Jewel), Brandon Davis, Kristina Kruid (Matt) and Marc Bigley; and her brothers, Wilbur and Richard McCumber. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
