She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Charlie" G. Wetzel and Mathilda Wetzel (Schroeder); her grandparents, Charles G. Wetzel and Anna Marie Wetzel (Schmidt); her husband Ken; her daughter Christine; and her brothers, Charles (Josephine), Donald (Eunice) and Howard (Phyllis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (212 W 12th St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran School or the Nebraska Division of the Izaak Walton League of America.
