We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2025, at the age of 87, Josephine (Joann) Bailey (Grand Island, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Christine; her parents-in-law, Ellen, John Monie, Glen and Lil Bailey; and her sister Margaret Gonka (Bob).
She is survived by: her son Daniel; her grandchildren, Nathan Bailey (Misty), Christine Valderaz (Simon) and Jack Bailey; her children, Michael Parmley (Brittany Calvin), Alaina Parmley, Jaden and Levi; her sisters-in-law, Barb Pensick and Donna Henderson; her godchildren, Kindy Massing and Rusty Fisher; and her siblings, Sonny (Jackie), Ronnie (Linda), Larry (Iretta), Jim (Kenny), Geraldine Muller (Bill) and Donna Rich (Ted).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW (1914 W Capital Ave, Grand Island, NE 68803).
She developed Alzheimer's disease in the last few years of her life.
