We are sad to announce that, on October 10, 2022, at the age of 73, Joyce Lynn Whelan of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fugate and Alma Fugate (Rice); her daughter Nicole Lynn Whelan; and her sisters, Nancy Lee and Mary Fugate.
She is survived by: her husband Francis J. "Butch" Whelan; her children, Michelle Davidson of Grand Island, Brian Whelan (Diane) of Grand Island and Warren Whelan (Michelle) of Aurora; her grandchildren, James Yu and Samantha Yu; her children, Jonah, Apollo, Leo, Katrina Wiles (Treston), Elidia, Alistair, Anthony Davidson, Nathan Hatch (Nicole), Alex Whelan, Jordan Brandt, Mariah Brandt, Alyssa Hatch, Riley Grant (Cary), Kyrsten Whelan, Selena Ibarra, Kadence Whelan, Evan Whelan, Breckin Hatch and Collin Whelan; and her sister Charlene Bartow of Alliance. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
