He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth, Sr. Mahlin and Marjorie Mahlin (Wimberger); his brothers, Robert, Richard and Thomas; and his great-nephew Liam Blake of Plano, TX..
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mahlin; his children, Ruth Beechley (Russ) of Lincoln, Sarah Feckner (Jim) of Clarksville, TN, Mary Eckert (Tom) of Lahoma, OK and John Mahlin (Dawn) of Grand Island, NE.; his grandchildren, Chelsea Herbst (Jared) of Maryland Heights, MO, Blake Eckert of Grand Island, NE, Brendan Beechley (Jessica) of Omaha, NE, Dylan Beechley of Lincoln, NE, Devon Beechley of Lincoln, NE, Christopher Feckner and Kailey Feckner of Clarksville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Archer Herbst and Avila Herbst of Marland Heights, MO.. He is also survived by four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
