The memory of Lee Allen Faaborg of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Faaborg and Donna Faaborg (Anderson); his stepfather Milton Moravec; and his brother-in-law John Wroblewski. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Rose of Grand Island; his daughters, Kayla (Kyle Peters) and Kelsey (Kaleb Vik); his grandchildren, Will and Mady Peters; his siblings, Randy, Bobbi Faaborg of Ord, Marilyn, Russ Williams of Grand Island, Diane and Rene Simard of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; his parents-in-law, Jim and Judy Rose of St. Paul; and his siblings, Lynn Rose (Liana Wroblewski), Bob (Elvina Rose), Lori (Dan Kennedy), John (Lisa Rose), Kevin (Paula Rose) and Ryan (Laura Rose). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (713 Elm St, St Paul, NE 68873). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
The family requests that instead of flowers and plants that memorials be given to the family for later designation.
