We announce the death of LeRoy E Johnson of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 81. LeRoy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Theodore and Viola Johnson (Lilienthal); his wife Carol Mae Ewers of St. Paul, NE; his stepfather Orville Ruby; his brother Walter L. Johnson; his parents-in-law, Henry and Edna Pralle; his siblings-in-law, Thomas (Winifred Pralle) and Janice Pralle; his nephew Daniel Pralle; his granddaughter Kayla Mae Johnson; his stepgranddaughter Raelyn Hillman; and his pet Tipper.

He is survived by: his brother Walter Lee; his former wife Sharon K. Johnson; his stepsons, Justin Matthew and Tyler Mitchell; his sons, LeRoy and Boy Scouts; his wife Judith "Judi" Johnson; his children, Lee Johnson, Barry Johnson, Brent Johnson (Tiffany Hartford), Rhonda Hillman (Kevin), Justin Johnson and Tyler Johnson; his stepsons, Mark E. Clark (Linda) and Timothy J. Clark (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Brennan Johnson, Blazek Johnson (Carley Scott), Elliot Johnson, Trevor Johnson, Morgan Littlejohn (Ky), Ryker Johnson, Reiley Jo Shildt (Colby), Raegen Hillman and Ryan Hillman; his stepgrandchildren, Johnathan Clark (Jack), Meagan Wieland, Jakob Clark and Jared Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Pralle and Jane Pralle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
