With sadness, we share the passing of Linda Joyce Eberhardt of Grand Island, Nebraska. Linda, born on October 16, 1942, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Linda for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Poppert and Liela Poppert (Carr). She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Chris D., Bill, Brian Eberhardt and Melissa Eberhardt; and her sister Evielyn Donnelly (Poppert) of Hot Springs, AR. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Gi Free Church (2609 S Blaine St, Grand Island, NE 68801).
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
