He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne Keith and Iris Pickering (Sharp); his former wife Patricia "Patty" Schultz; his children, LaVern Pickering (Lorie) of Gaylord, Lonna Schirm (Robert) of Loup City, Crystal Petzoldt (Brian) of Grand Island, Bruce Pickering (Renee) of Kearney, Angie Coble (Adam) of Funk, Amalia "Molly" Halouska (Ed) of Sterling, Simon "Pete" Holbrook (Angie) of Gothenburg and April Sack; his close friends, Kay Hartman of Cozad and Roger Gerdes of Cozad; his former wife Barbara Bourland (Patricia "Patty"); his brother Don Pickering; and his grandson Bruce Pickering, Jr.. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
