It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Vega of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Vega and Juanita Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Tim, Lisa and Anthony; his daughter-in-law Lyann Vega; his stepsons, Rick Bourland (Margarita), Jay Bourland (Tina) and Mike Bourland (Tori); his grandchildren, Blanka, Bryan, Maria, Mercedes, Jaime, Garrett, Amanda, Meagan, Nathanuel, Kayla, Taylor, Maggie, Justina, Evan, Blake, Lillyana, Anthony and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Leila, Charles, Bella, Abel, Grace, Marleigh, Kiara, Avana, Zaiden and Brooks. He is also survived by four brothers and six sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
