It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Schwieger of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Saint Libory, Nebraska, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schwieger and Mildred Schwieger (Thesenvitz); her siblings, Kenneth Schwieger (Janice) and Lola Clark; her brother-in-law Oscar Sorgenfrei; her niece Robyn; and her nephews, Jody and Larry.
She is survived by: her close friend Kim Bowland (Clint); her sister Harriet Sorgenfrei of Grand Island; her brother-in-law Steve Clark of Dannebrog; Christopher and Kaelee Bowland of Norfolk, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Nebraska Boys Town.
