It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvel Scarlett of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvel Scarlett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bartels and Annabel Pauline Bartels (Krumpus); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas and Dakotea Olson. She is survived by: her former husband Donald James "Jim" Scarlett Sr.; her children, Bill (Brenda) of Primrose, Debra of Albion, Donald James Jr. of Arizona, Jerry (Jeanie) of Columbus, Steven of Colorado and Michael of Grand Island; and her sister Beverly Rieck of Albion. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
