He is survived by: his parents, Chad Bishop and Colleen Bishop of Grand Island; his siblings, Heather Bradley (Nate) of San Diego, CA, Andrew Bishop (Shana) of Moyock, NC and Sheila Ehresman (Mitch) of Savage, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Brennan, Isabella, Madeline, Adelaide and Michael.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801).
Due to the injuries sustained on Sunday, July 5th, he was life flighted to Omaha, where Matthew's last act of love was donating his organs.
