She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Samway and Evelyn Samway (Speck); and her brothers, Larry Samway and Jim Samway. She is survived by: her husband Lynn of Grand Island; her son Joe Johnson (Crystal); her grandsons, Derrick and Zachary Johnson; her brothers, Charles Samway (Sharon) of Sterling Co and Dennis Samway (Pat) of Johnson Lake, NE; and her sister-in-law Carol Samway of McCook. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
