With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Jo Matson of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Sinsel; the fathers of children, Michael Matson and Johnathan; her grandson Johnny Matson; and her siblings-in-law, Don Baker, Curt Matson and Debra Matson.

She is survived by: her mother Elaine Sinsel (Felske); her boyfriend Doug Brockman; her children, Jerry Matson (Shannon Parkison) of Grand Island and Michaela Hurt (Jaden) of St. Paul; her grandchildren, Aedyn Matson, Grace Parkison, Jaron Hurt, Landon Hurt and Lincoln Hurt; her siblings, Todd Sinsel (Pam) and Cindy Baker (family: Nicole Reyes); her nieces and nephews, Tatiana and Jovani; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Matson, Wayne Matson (Tina), Randa Salazar (Craig), Cherie Gbur (Ed) and Chris Matson. She is also survived by niece and family.
