He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dee and Leota Dee (Thompson); and his wife Alma "Toots" Keller (Gydesen). He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Dee of Grand Island; and his stepchildren, Christine Keller of Grand Island, Janee Broadway, Karen Keller of Phoenix, AZ and Kraig Keller of Highlands Ranch, CO. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; along with numerous friends and family.
