It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kool Jr. of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Hartington, Nebraska, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his fathers, Tom Ryan (Vijumon Choorackal) and Dave Rykwalder; his brother Bob Kool; and his brother-in-law Elef Jordahl. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Tina Marler (John) of Germantown, TN, Todd Kool (Bobbi) of Grand Island, NE, Brian Kool (Cynthia) of Waco, TX, Bradley Kool (Ashley) of Boelus, NE and Brent Kool (Cassie) of Papillion, NE; his grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Brandon, Brandi, Kelsey (Ivan), Taylor (Trevor), Brady, Layden, Brody, Bronson, Beckham, Blakely, Avila, Kaden, Carter, Braden, Blake and Kingston; his siblings, Corriene Jordahl of Yankton, SD, Linda Schieffer (Harley) of Altoona, IA and Randy Kool (Lynn) of Fountain, CO; and his sister-in-law Dodie Kool of Gayville, SD..
