He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Saalfeld and Doris Saalfeld (Foust); his daughter Laura Ganow; and his brothers, Rod and Randy Saalfeld.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Ganow (Reher); and his children, Scott Ganow (Ginny) of Kearney, Rich Saalfeld (Lisa) of Crete and Sue Burkhardt (Saalfeld). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
